Brandon Olmstead: Claremore Public Schools
Buses have always interested me, from when I rode them as a student to seeing them in trade shows. After I graduated college in 2015 and became a children’s minister, I realized the need for a bus driver when taking children to events. That summer I got my CDL. I started working for Claremore Public Schools in 2015 to supplement my income. I started at Claremore as a route driver then I became a sub driver. I enjoyed being a sub driver because I was able to learn all the routes, interact with all the students and learn all the street names. In 2021, I was promoted to Assistant Director while the school searched for a Director. In 2022, I became the Director of Transportation for Claremore Public Schools.
