I went to school at Claremore Sequoyah and graduated in 1987. At the same time graduating from Northeast tech Pryor from their auto body class. I went the same year and got my commercial chauffeur's license. Started driving on the farm hauling livestock then went to driving for other companies at the age of 21 hauling livestock and in the oilfield hauling oversize loads.
I bought my own truck in 2000 and ran my own company till 2020 when I decided to retire off the road and went to work at Salina Public Schools in the maintenance department. Then 5 weeks later I moved into the transportation department as the transportation director. Since taking that position I have become a state-certified school bus inspector, a route driver, and a school fleet mechanic. This has been the most rewarding job that I have had in my career.
