OAPT ANNUAL AWARD CRITERIA
Here are some guidelines to ensure OAPT Board Members are all reviewing and voting on annual awards with the same criteria. This will also help our OAPT members understand what the Board of Directors is judging on when the awards are reviewed. These guidelines will be broken down by the award type though many awards will have the same criteria.
All awards are judged with the following:
- Selfless Service (doing work beyond job scope)
- Years of Service (has the nominee shown sustained service)
- Attendance (Do they show up for work daily)
- Willingness to help others (Do they go above and beyond to assist others)
aDMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR
- Job Duties (ability to multitask, initiative and job knowledge)
- Staff Management (works well with staff)
- Staff Culture (fosters a good work environment)
- School/Organization Involvement (attends or sits on committees/boards in the school/state/federal level)
sUPPORT PERSON OF THE YEAR
- Team Support (works well with the staff)
- Parent/Community Support (works with outside patrons)
- Job Duties (ability to multitask, initiative and job knowledge)
mECHANIC OF THE YEAR
- Seek to further their education (attend more training and education)
- Shop Safety (no accidents or incidents)
bUS DRIVER OF THE YEAR
- Accident (No At-Fault accidents this year)
- Safety (Do they do daily pre-trips and follow safety rules and laws)
- Student Management (Maintains good student control)
Bus monitor of the year
- Keeps their students safe (Do they go above and beyond to assist fellow monitors)
- Teamwork (Works well with their driver and students)
- Route knowledge (Knows their route)
